A FEW NOTES FROM ME
#CSW2019
Catholic Schools Week 2019 is this week! This is our week to celebrate the opportunity we have to grow in our faith and to show appreciation for all the people who make our school wonderful. Yesterday, we kicked off the week by celebrating Mass together. Layout of the week:
Monday: Student Appreciation
Tuesday: Parent & Volunteer Appreciation
Wednesday: Teacher Appreciation
Thursday: Parish Appreciation
Friday: Day of Service (Bring in hygiene products to donate the San Diego Rescue Mission)
Open House 2/2
We will be holding an Open House on Saturday, Feb 2, 9-11 AM. Please share the news with prospective parents. Classrooms will be open, and teachers will be available. We will also have school tours.
Field Trip 2/7 – San Diego Symphony
We need a couple more drivers for our upcoming field trip to the San Diego Symphony. Please let me know if you’d be able to join us (or drop off/pick up a carpool). Many thanks in advance!
Valentine’s Day
If your child is planning on distributing goodies or cards for Valentine’s Day, please note that there should be enough for the entire class. We have 26 kids total in 6th grade.
Candy Grams
Student Council will be hosting a candy gram sale, starting next Monday. Candy grams are $1 each or 3 for $1/50. Flyers/order forms will be sent home next week. Orders from parents or family members welcome!
Don’t forget – your child can play Prodigy at home to practice math skills! It’s a fun, interactive game that helps build math skills and is geared to your child’s individual level and needs!
