These students were recognized by their classmates and teachers as students who have exemplified being a committed Catholic. This month’s SLE in focus is Responsible, Globally Aware Citizens.
Our next PTG General Meeting is this Wednesday, October 9, starting with a social at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting to follow at 6:30 p.m. I will be present to check you in and give you a homework pass for your child at the end of the meeting. Childcare will be available.
6th Grade is continuing to explore the story of creation in Religion; a test is scheduled for next Thursday. In History, we have started our third chapter, focusing on the Fertile Crescent and the various civilizations that grew out of this region. Last week, we explored the civilization of Sumer; this week, we’ll be focusing on the Akkad, Babylon, and Phoenicia. (And, as you can see, we’ve been working on our note-taking skills.)
