This week’s post is late and short… my apologies, it’s been a crazy week!

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Super Family Literacy Night!
St. Vincent’s School is proud to announce our first ever family literacy night on Wednesday, November 6, from 5:45-7:30 in the St. Vincent’s Parish Hall… Please RSVP (so we have a head count of how many people to expect) at https://forms.gle/kBiM7Mxv13svauYJ6
Weekly Update 10/7 – 11
Just a few samples from 8th grade’s narrative piece, Memorable Places:
“From the outside, the old Park City house didn’t look like much. It was a condo; we shared a wall with the neighbors, and it was just normal. It had ceilings, walls, a roof, some ground, just like a normal house. But the memories that we shared there are anything but normal, and they will last forever.” – B.G.
“The house is fairly big on the outside, and on the inside, it isn’t much different! I nickname it the house of construction because it has crafted me into the person I am today.” A.W.
“It’s strange to think about, leaving our house behind… It seems like just yesterday that I was too short to reach the cupboards or even the sink without help. Every time I open the dark, but still shiny, wooden door, I am instantly hit with an aura of cheerfulness and creativity, along with a smell that can only be described as one thing: home.” B.F.
